Sources

Every status, level, region and time in this app is copied out of a bulletin published by one of the centres below. If a line is not in a bulletin, this app does not show it.

What is not connected

These two centres publish for the Pacific basin, the Caribbean, and United States and Canadian coastlines. Other oceans are served by other national authorities that are not connected here yet - always follow your own local authority.

This is the honest limit of the app today, and it is the main thing still being built. If your coastline is served by a national authority that publishes a public feed and it is missing here, write to Hello@DreamxDestiny.com and we will look at adding it.

What this app will never do

It will never invent a warning, never estimate a wave height or an arrival time, and never show demonstration data as if it were live. If a source cannot be read, the app says it could not be read - it does not quietly fall back to an all-clear, because not knowing and being safe are different things.

Lumi, the assistant on the home screen, is handed the same bulletins the status screen shows and may only repeat what is in them. She is not a warning source.

Status of this app

In development. It reads the two centres above live, and that part is real. It is not an official alert channel, it does not push notifications yet, and it should not be anyone's only source. In an emergency, follow your local emergency authority.
