I look after Tsunami Warning - a non-profit app, still in development, that reads the bulletins published by official tsunami warning centres and puts them on one screen. I am not a warning source myself - in an emergency, follow your local emergency authority, not me.

Checking the warning centres

Reading the official bulletins now.

This app does not alert you. It shows what the centres had published at the moment you opened this screen, and nothing reaches you while it is closed - keep an official alert channel for that.

These two centres publish for the Pacific basin, the Caribbean, and United States and Canadian coastlines. Other oceans are served by other national authorities that are not connected here yet - always follow your own local authority.

Why this app exists

Official tsunami bulletins are public, but scattered across separate centres written for emergency managers. This app puts them on one screen and answers what a person actually needs to know: is there a warning, where, at what level, and what does that mean.
